No ZinC is an exchange project between two electronica artists called whisker floater. They have individually been exploring ios architecture for a few years, creating bites & rhythms on iPads. Some of these experiments have found their way onto DAW. Individual rhythms, voice & melodies/miscellaneous for 3 selected DAW pieces provided the harmonic basis and virtual ‘atmos’ for all track making that followed. No ZinC has been slightly open-ended allowing for mutation and branch splicing of ideas and audio segments. The overarching idea was that the two artists would explore different notions of remixing materials that were never fixed or finished mixed tracks in the first place.
